"If you like games like tonight, then I guess you think it's a good game. Two teams battled hard, I thought the effort from both sides was extremely was extremely out there, we played extremely hard. Turnovers was a telling tale. You can't have that many turnovers and expect to win."

On trying to rotate in dry footballs:

"We tried to keep a dry ball out there every chance we could, but it was hard. You're going to have to talk more to our equipment staff."

On whether the rain was a factor:

"I think the elements had a whole lot to do with it. I think Chris played hard, played valiantly, but it's hard to execute in those conditions. It's just hard to be real effective in these conditions."

On the defense:

"Honestly, they allowed seven, it was on a fumble recovery. They'd played unbelievable. If they continue to play this way, we'll continue to win football games."

On Chris Johnson's fumble:

"We were planning on a field goal. We felt like we had a guy open in the end zone. Had it, thrown it, got hit."

On Devin Chafin's last play:

"He's finally gotten healthy, powerful guy. Maybe should have been a different formation. WE switched it, changed it, they just made a play. I thought Chris was really close on the play before."

On Chafin saying the loss was his fault:

"I hate for him to say that. It's not his fault. It's his running that got us where we were. He got us there and he'll be over that. We'll make sure that's not an issue."

On playing in the rain:

"It was pretty difficult. The rain was coming down pretty hard. It was just realy slick, hard to grip. It makes you a little bit one dimension.al, but still no excuses. No excuses."

On the rain picking up:

"The game first started, the rain wasn't near as bad as it got towards the middle of the first quarter. I think it had a little bit of an effect. On those first two drives, we opened up at the playbook and did what we wanted. It was just tough to do."

On his fumble:

"We were just trying to pick up yards. That's on me, 100%. In the game that we played, when the rain is bad, you have to focus on ball security. Everything else comes second. I take the blame for that 1100%. KD was wide open. I saw him as I let the route develop. When I saw him stutter, I knew he was going to be there. As soon as I went back to throw it, it slipped out."

On the limited passing game:

"I knew coming in that if the weather, we expected rain but we didn't expect that. We knew one way or the other, the intermediate was going to be difficult because we couldn't get it out quick."

On Devin Chafin:

"Devin played an awesome game, which he does every week. He has no reason to hang his head about anything, he played a great game tonight. Picked up key first downs, got yards."

On the pop pass touchdown:

"That's a play that we had been working on all week, with me running the ball so much, we thought we could hit him that they might not be expecting. We ran it before the OT touchdown and it worked. We called it again and it happened to be working."
